Use Number for quantities, Date for schedules, Person for assignments, and Relation to connect records. Choose a field type before entering values so that view filters and sorting can interpret the data.
Choose which properties appear
Use the view settings to show or hide properties in that view. Access to a field is managed separately and still applies when someone opens a record or exports it.
