Preview and restore a page version
Compare a saved version
Open Version history on the page and select an entry. Read the preview to identify the version you need.
Restore when the action is available
Restore from the selected version if your permissions allow it. Check the current page after the restore. To recover a deleted page, use Trash instead.
Try it in Nodo
- Open a test page that already has a saved version and change a line in its body.
- Open Version history and select an earlier entry. Compare the preview with the current body.
- If Restore is available, restore the chosen version and reopen the page to check the body.
Expected result. The test page shows the earlier line. A reader without restore permission can only use the actions available to that role.
